Daily Art - Day 1

Here's What I did Today:

First, I did a bunch of studies.
Practicing my brush strokes. I did four of each

a flat wash
Gradiated Wash and
Variegated Washes

So, Then I did a mini painting -
6 X 8 -
I was practicing lifting clouds, and working with wax sticks.

So, that was my afternoon.

For the evening, I decided to use my Aquabee paper.

I need to learn how much water to use. It originally started out as a value study. Then I decided to color it in.







This last painting is done on Arches 9 X 12.

I didn't have time to put in a bunch of the details like I did in the above painting.

This is the mobile home that I enjoy to paint. It was Ednas'. A real lovely lady. All in all, a real busy day.
